FAQ & Comments
Here we have listed a few questions for you that have been burning under the nails of some visitors in recent years.
Will there be day tickets?
If there will be day tickets, we will be able to tell you in the coming months. Day tickets would only be available if the festival is not sold out beforehand.
Can I enter the campgrounds without a ticket?
Without a ticket there is no access to the tent sites, because the space there is very limited.
Can I take an accompanying person with me free of charge if I have a disabled pass?
Yes! In our ticket store you will find the category "with accompanying person". If this applies to you, please select this category - this way you don't need to send an e-mail in advance and you can pick up your wristband with your friends at the regular entrance.
Will there be tickets available at the box office?
If we are not sold out beforehand, there will still be tickets available at the box office.
Are there early booking discounts and how are these prices staggered?
For the Immergut Festival 2026 there are two different price categories: One for 85€ incl. 10€ for camping, parking & shuttle train, the second for 95€ incl. 10€ for camping, parking & shuttle train. In our ticket store there is an additional 4€ VVK fee for each category.
How is the presale fee made up?
This year, we’ve spent quite some time calculating, comparing, and shuffling numbers around in Excel. Unfortunately, we can’t stop price increases and inflation either, so we had to adjust our ticket prices accordingly.
Our presale fees have also changed slightly compared to previous years. To give you a quick overview of what they include, we’ve broken it down for you here:
Ticket and shopping cart fee to Höme:
- This fee consists of €0.95 per ticket plus 4% of the total cart value. It goes to our friends at Höme, who are using it to help shape the future of the festival scene.
Does my child have to buy a ticket as well?
Children from 0 up to and including 11 years get free entrance to the festival area. However, in order to ensure personalization at this point as well, it is necessary that you "buy" a free children's ticket in advance in our online ticket store. From the age of 12, a normal Immergut Festival ticket is required.
Are there discounted tickets for residents/neighbors and people from Neustrelitz?
We will be able to tell you in the coming months whether there will be discounted tickets for Neustrelitz residents and neighbors.
Where can I get my festival ribbon?
You will get your festival ribbon from our friendly entrance team at the entrance to tent site 1. There your ticket will be validated and you will get your ribbon, garbage bag and booklet.
When do I get my festival band?
On Thursday and Friday the entrance to campsite 1 will be manned until the evening. On Saturday you can pick up your wristband at the guest list. Attention: at night we take a break and dance.
I lost my festival wristband, what now?
Unfortunately, we cannot replace the loss of a festival wristband. Therefore, it is best to make sure that your wristband is firmly attached to your arm when you enter the festival. If we are not sold out, you are welcome to buy a new ticket and get a new wristband.
What time does the festival area open?
The festival area opens on Thursday at 16:30, Friday and Saturday at 14:30 (+/- half an hour).
How is it with the accessibility?
You can find useful accessibility information all bundled together here.
Can I also buy my ticket(s) at a VVK point?
The tickets for the Immergut Festival 2026 are only available in our online ticket store.
Can I return my ticket?
The lovely people at infield have put a lot of thought into this: with their free cancellation festival tickets, you’re covered for all eventualities and will receive a full refund if you need to cancel.
You can find more information here.
How do I get from the train station to the festival area?
The best way is to use the shuttle train. You can find the exact departure times here from August.
Does the shuttle train from the train station to the festival area cost extra?
The shuttle train from Neustrelitz train station to the festival area and the bathing lake is included in the price of the festival ticket.
When do the last shuttle trains leave daily and when do the first ones leave?
You can find the detailed timetable of the shuttle train here from August on.
Is it possible to arrive earlier?
Since the campground does not open until 10am on Thursday, an earlier arrival is at your own risk.
Do you charge a fee if I arrive by car?
Parking at our campsite is free of charge. Please follow the instructions of our parker Luisen, who will direct you cheerfully waving.
What's the deal with this new Bulli policy now?
Since 2018, we have had Bulli/Caravan cards in the ticket store. Without a card there is no possibility to stand on the Bulli/Caravan areas.
With this we want to achieve a fairer distribution of the very scarce and more and more popular bulli spaces. Each of you can inform yourself about the start of the Bulli cards via our channels and buy them directly - we would highly recommend this!
On site, upon presentation of the Bulli Card, you will be assigned a fancy sticker as well as 20m² of space to design including your bulli/caravan/camper.
Attention: No plots can be reserved or kept free. Please follow the instructions of our parker Luisen, who will direct you cheerfully waving.
What counts as a bulli/caravan?
Basically, we all know what a Bulli is. But cars with mattresses clearly prepared for sleeping also count. If you come with towing vehicle and caravan, the former must be parked in the parking lot.
What happens if I don't get a Bulli card or just arrive without one?
There will be no parking space for those who arrive without a Bulli card. We ask you to arrive with a tent and to spend the night on the campground.
Why do I suddenly have to pay money for Bulli parking?
For many years our parkers Luisen have discussed and argued that every Bulli plus occupants should have the same space. But why argue when you can do it fairly? No matter who arrives when, the bulli parking can now be elegantly clarified online in advance. For the presale of the additional tickets as well as the production of the stickers it needs some money. Well, and let's be honest: Who wouldn't book a ticket just to be on the safe side, if it was free of charge, because: it's for free? The big money is missing for us, but there are more satisfied faces at the arrival.
Is my ticket also valid on the Deutsche Bahn or city buses in Neustrelitz?
The festival ticket is not valid on the trains of the Deutsche Bahn or the city buses in Neustrelitz. Only the shuttle train from the train station<--> festival area as well as festival area <-> train station <--> lake is included in the festival ticket.
Do you have a site plan?
As soon as the site plan for this year is ready, you will find it here.
What do I do in the event of force majeure? (Storm/Unsevere weather)
If the festival has to be canceled/cancelled or interrupted due to force majeure, we will inform you via any medium. Please follow the instructions of our security staff and if necessary the police and fire department on site.
Please have a look at the escape plans at the information point and familiarize yourself with the nearest escape route beforehand (almost like in an airplane). Please also have a look at the house rules. There we have compiled some points that will ensure your safety in the event of a storm.
I hurt myself, where can I get help?
If you are slightly injured, you will find our Sani tent right next to the exit of the festival area on the campground. If you are more seriously injured, it is best to call the emergency doctor immediately (emergency call 112, please state the exact location). Of course you can always contact our security staff, who will show you the way or call for help.
Is there an awareness team?
Yes, the awareness team has a fixed location, which is marked on the map you will find online and in the accompanying booklet. In addition, there are mobile members of the Awareness Team who move around the area and are available to talk to you at any time. Look for the armadillo, the symbol of the awareness team.
Even after the Immergut you can contact us at any time if you want support elsewhere at the festival, have questions or want to register needs.
You can reach us at: awareness@immergutrocken.de
What can I do if I observe border violating or discriminating behavior or am affected myself?
You can always approach the Awareness Team and ask for help, even if the problem is not quite tangible at first. We can try to find a solution together or simply offer a place of retreat. Our goal is that you get the support you want.
You can of course also report to our security staff at any time, so that if necessary the person(s) can be detained and handed over to the police.
I have witnessed violence/vandalism/racism, what can I do?
Please report this immediately to the security staff so that the person(s) can be detained and handed over to the police if necessary.
I was robbed, what can I do?
Not all people are as sweet as you and us, so we cannot rule out theft. If you have been robbed, it is best to contact the police station in Neustrelitz (03981 2 58-0) right away. To prevent this, it is best not to take any valuables with you or to leave them safely and out of sight in the car.
Do you have lockers?
We do not offer lockers. It is best to leave your valuables at home or in the car. The tent is not a good place.
Can I camp next to my car? Can I park next to my tent?
Our camping and parking areas are separate. This means you can’t pitch your tent right next to your car. But don’t worry – most parking areas are not far from the campsite.
I’m coming with a large group. Can we reserve a camping area together?
Reserving specific camping areas is not encouraged. As the campsite fills up, you will need to clear large open spaces to make room for more tents.
When does the campsite open, and when do we need to leave?
The campsites open on Thursday at 10 AM. You should leave by Monday evening – otherwise our waste-collection team will sweep you up with the rest.
Is there a quiet camping area for families or visitors looking for peace and quiet?
We’re planning quiet tent and camper-van areas located farther away from the stages, roads, and general bustle. More info will follow as soon as we know the details. On site, just ask our “Parker Luisen” – they’ll gladly help you find a cozy, quiet spot.
Can I make a campfire on the campsite?
Campfires are not allowed due to the proximity to the forest and the high risk of fire.
Please also never leave your grills unattended, as they can quickly become dangerous.
Am I allowed to use torches on the campsite?
The same rules apply as for campfires. Our security team will extinguish any open flames immediately. Looks cool, sure – but makes a mess and puts out the fire.
Can I bring a generator to the campsite?
Generators are not allowed and will be switched off.
Can I set off leftover New Year’s fireworks at the campsite?
Same as with torches and open flames – absolutely not.
Can I bring drinks onto the campsite?
You can bring any drinks you like onto the campsite.
Can I bring old furniture to the campsite and leave it there after the festival?
A clear NO. In past years we’ve had huge amounts of bulky waste left behind. Anyone bringing large pieces of furniture onto the campsite will be watched very closely.
Is there a wheelchair-accessible toilet?
We have a large wheelchair-accessible portable toilet on Campsite 1, as well as a wheelchair-accessible compost toilet on the festival grounds. You can find more information about accessibility bundled here.
Are there free showers?
Yes, you can find our showers at the corner of Am Kamp / Bürgerseeweg.
Are there flush toilets?
Unfortunately, we don’t have flush toilets. However, there are portable toilets and compost toilets distributed throughout the site.
Do showers/toilets cost money?
Portable toilets, compost toilets, and showers are free of charge.
Are there compost toilets?
Yes, we have some on Campsite 1 right next to the menstruation tent, as well as on the festival grounds near the entrance.
Is the water at the washing stations safe to drink?
Yes, the water at the washing stations and in the showers is drinking water and is tested for hygiene before each festival.
Where and when can I drop off my full trash bag?
At the trash deposit stations listed in the accompanying booklet. Stations are open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday (subject to change).
When is a trash bag full?
Full doesn't mean "full to overflowing," but it also doesn't mean "I didn't make any trash, so I'm turning in an empty trash bag." Since we have to hand the site back to the city clean after the festival, it is important that the site is clean in order to be allowed to use it again next year. Therefore we ask for your help. If more trash is left, more time and money will have to be invested in cleaning the grounds and this would drive up the total price of the festival ticket.
In short, please fill your trash bag as full as you can, but at least two-thirds full.
Is garbage separated?
Yes, at the camping you have the possibility to separate your garbage. The "classic" way is to separate it into paper, residual waste and yellow sacks. For this you will receive three garbage bags from us. Also for your waste glass is taken care of, glass containers are also at the start. We try to establish the waste separation step by step also on the festival area. You, the visitors, will be the first this year, so thank you very much!
Why is garbage separated?
Attention Captain Obvious: Consumption makes garbage. Yes, even a festival visit counts. Let's make the best of it and separate it. This way the garbage can be recycled as much as possible. What works well at home, can also work in your temporary home on our lovely campsite.
Why are there plastic trash bags for paper?
"How dare you!" Yes true, it is strange at first glance. Paper and cardboard, however, must not get wet if it is to be recycled. Means it needs a plastic bag for your paper waste. We find it also not ideal, we will see what we can change in the future to this condition. But for now, we have to plan with the little contradiction.
What should I have seen in Neustrelitz?
There is a lot to see in the residential town. From the market square, the city church, the state theater, the Carolinum high school, the castle park including the orangery, the castle church and castle ruins to the Zierker See lake including the jetty or the Glambecker See lake directly in the city center, there are many things worth seeing.
Are there hotels nearby?
Neustrelitz has a lot of different hotels. However, finding a room will be a bit difficult, because we have already reserved a large number of rooms in Neustrelitz for our artists.
Otherwise it is also worthwhile to have a look at the free accommodations of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Maybe you will find a relaxing place to sleep and feel good!
Are there shopping facilities nearby?
Not far from the festival area you will find Norma (a supermarket) and Thomas Philips (a special item market with food). Near the train station there is Kaufland with a large beverage department and on Saturday our shuttle train also runs into town (Netto) (subject to change).
Do you have a lake?
Ha, not only one! The best thing to do is to look here or locally in the accompanying booklet to find the lake that suits you and in each case a description of how to get there.
How do I get to the lake?
Our shuttle train to White Lake departs from the station at Bürgerseeweg diagonally across from the campground entrance. You will find the routes to the other lakes in the vicinity in the accompanying booklet.
Can I clean myself with my shower gel in the lake?
Please leave your shower gel in your backpack and do not pollute the lakes. The flora and fauna in and around the lake are heavily polluted by the chemicals.
Is there a possibility to withdraw money on site?
We do not have an ATM on site. However, ATMs are scattered throughout the city of Neustrelitz. You can find more information at the info point.
