Blvth
When Immergut turned 20, I was 14. I wandered across the festival grounds with a mix of caution and curiosity, and even before the headliner started I asked my mom when we could finally go home.
It took a few more years and a pandemic for me to understand what’s actually going on in my hometown every year at the end of May. Back then, under the motto “Alles bleibt anders”, people danced and discovered new music. That Friday, BLVTH opened the tent stage with his album "Blut".
Since then, a lot has changed. New music. New mottos. New people who have fallen in love with the festival. But one thing remains the same: the name BLVTH in the line-up.
If this year’s motto “So ein Kuddelmuddel” fits any artist, it’s BLVTH. Familiar melodies suddenly take sharp turns, genres blur, and beats shift into unexpected directions. One genre is easy BLVTH navigates several at once.
Somewhere between rap, pop, electronic influences and those little sonic ideas that suddenly feel huge, a sound emerges that refuses to settle into just one lane which is exactly why it fits Immergut so well.
BLVTH is known for his innovative, genre-bending sound. Over the past years he has made a name for himself not only as an artist but also as a producer. He contributed to number-one albums such as "Lang lebe der Tod " by Casper and served as Executive Producer for the also chart-topping album "KIOX" by Kraftklub frontman KUMMER. There, he played a key role in shaping the album’s sound and once again showed how effortlessly he moves between different musical worlds.
