Arrival and camping
The Immergut Festival 2026 will take place at Bürgerseeweg 28 in 17235 Neustrelitz, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Those who are not directly "from around the corner" have the following options for travel:
The sleek Neustrelitz train station comes with all the essentials: an obligatory döner spot, platforms with very little protection from the wind, and a ticket counter that’s only rarely staffed (but hey there’s a brand new public toilet on the forecourt, digital displays, and rumour has it: Wi-Fi? OMG). Just type “Neustrelitz, Hauptbahnhof” into your preferred device and boom you’ll arrive right in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District by regional train or even ICE and IC.
Important travel info:
Starting May 26, 2026, construction work between Bernau and Berlin Hbf may affect your journey. Unfortunately, this could lead to delays or restrictions on your route. We recommend checking your connection in advance and planning a little extra travel time.
The dear Greens know it well: Neustrelitz is always worth a trip. Between Greifswald, Berlin and Leipzig, the long-distance bus makes a stop in the festival city twice a day.
From the train station, you can continue your journey with our shuttle train. On Thursday and Sunday, it runs free of charge between the station and the festival site. On Friday and Saturday, a shuttle bus will be available instead. On both days, it can also take you to Weißer See near Wesenberg if you’re in the mood for a little lake escape.
You’ll find all departure times further below, at the stops on site, as well as in the app and the festival guide.
If you miss the shuttle train or shuttle bus but urgently need to get to your tent setup mission, you can of course grab a taxi for the short ride (around €15–18 per trip) or use local public transport instead by taking bus line 2 to the “Bürgerseeweg” stop. A single ticket costs €1.80.
You can find all shuttle train and shuttle bus times here.
The beige fleet of the Neustrelitz cab company is ready for you at the station or can be ordered under 03981 2222 or - 256363.
We love efficiency and the nature of our home region. So if you’re travelling by car, please try to fill it with as many festival friends as possible. Upon arrival, our parking helpers in bright green vests will guide you to the nearest available parking area (depending on whether you have a parking pass or not). Please help us out by following the instructions of our lovely “Parker Luisen” and avoid parking on roads or in access areas. The camping areas are pedestrian zones and therefore cannot be accessed by car not even “just for 5 minutes”.
Parking Pass
Since 2026, we’ve introduced parking passes in our ticket shop. Without a parking pass, it won’t be possible to park in the P2 (near the railway tracks) or P4 (by Thomas Phillips) parking areas. On arrival, you’ll receive a fancy printed permit and be assigned a parking spot once you show your parking pass.
For a smoother and more relaxed arrival, we recommend buying your parking pass in advance through our ticket shop.
What happens if I didn’t get a parking pass or arrive without one?
Everyone arriving by car without a parking pass will be directed by our parking crew to the free parking areas. These are located at P3 (Ida & Freunde) and P5 (near the sports stadium). On Friday, there will also be an additional shuttle service from these areas.
Road Closure
Please note that due to our road closure, arrival is only possible via Wesenberger Chaussee. Otherwise, you’ll have to take a little OKF (“Ortskontrollfahrt”) through the beautiful town of Neustrelitz.
From Thursday at 10 a.m., the gates to the camper van areas will officially open.
Since 2018 we have Bulli/Caravan cards in the card store. Without a card there is no possibility to stand on the Bulli/Caravan areas.
We want to achieve a fairer distribution of the very scarce and more and more popular bulli spaces. Each of you can inform yourself about the start of the bulli cards via our channels and buy them directly - we would highly recommend this!
On site, upon presentation of the bulli card, you will be assigned a fancy sticker as well as 20m² space to design including your bulli/caravan/caravan.
Attention: No plots can be reserved or kept free. Please follow the instructions of our parker Luisen, who will direct you cheerfully waving.
What counts as a bulli/caravan?
Basically, we all know what a Bulli is. But cars with mattresses clearly prepared for sleeping also count. If you come with towing vehicle and caravan, the former must be parked in the parking lot.
What happens if I don't get a Bulli card anymore or just arrive without one?
For all Bulli owners who arrive without a Bulli card, there will be no parking space. We would ask you to come with a tent and stay at the campground.
Why do I suddenly have to pay money for Bulli parking?
Many years our parkers Luisen have discussed and argued that every Bulli plus occupants should have the same space. But why argue when you can do it fairly? No matter who arrives when, the bulli parking can now be elegantly clarified online in advance. For the presale of the additional tickets as well as the production of the stickers it needs some money. Well, and let's be honest: Who wouldn't book a ticket just to be on the safe side, if it were free of charge, because: it's for free? So we don't get the big money, but there are more satisfied faces when we arrive.
Is there a different Bulli parking lot than usual?
No, in terms of space, everything is the same as always. There is a limited area and therefore only space for a certain number of bullis/caravans/caravans.
From Thursday 10 am the gates to the tent sites will open. Exchange your ticket for your festival wristband at the entrance, as you can only be granted access to the tent site and the festival grounds with a ticket/festival wristband.
For large groups it is recommended to arrive together, as reserving large open spaces is not appreciated. As the campground fills up, you will need to clear large open spaces so that there is room for everyone arriving.
Since we are surrounded by nature and beautiful forests, open fires of any kind are not allowed. The risk of fire is simply too high. Please also pay attention to your barbecue areas, as they can quickly become a danger if left unattended.
