quickly quickly
Sunset over Bürgerseeweg 28. After two days of festival, you wander across the infield, curious about what the final Immergut evening still has in store. With a laughing and a slightly teary eye, you try to soak up as much atmosphere as possible. One more stroll across the grounds, spotting familiar faces, pausing for a moment somewhere between trees, stage lights, mosquitoes and the evening air.
And then, almost like magic, you hear from one of the stages: “Welcome Home.”
Okay, okay. That all sounds very cheesy. But also somehow beautiful. And it’s exactly this warm, comforting feeling that quickly quickly bring to life. Like a sunset you wish would never end. A magical moment you want to hold on to forever. A long walk on a warm spring day. Music that feels light and familiar, yet still manages to surprise you.
Enough with the metaphors.
Between guitar and piano sounds is where we feel most at home anyway.
Maybe a little dreamy, maybe a little nostalgic but definitely exactly the right thing to spend the final Immergut evening together.
