Immergut 2026
Ah, what a beautiful Immergut Festival it was once again.
This year, everything was all about “So ein Kuddelmuddel” and we found our little and big Kuddelmuddel moments in front of the Wortbühne during speed dating, with SPRINTS on the Waldbühne on Saturday, or at “Zum Fässchen”, our new beer garden on the Marktplatz. Alongside all those Kuddelmuddel moments, we came together in Neustrelitz once again this year to celebrate, fall into each other’s arms, or simply enjoy the beginning of summer. Three days of escape, a little Kuddelmuddel and a whole lot of Immergut.
Thursday wasn’t just for arriving. Our supporting programme “Das mit Uns” was packed with Bingo, Bandkuddelmuddel, Klimakubb and the ever-popular karaoke into the night, followed by the Immergut DJ team. The Danish band Snuggle opened the 26th Immergut Edition musically. Their atmospheric sound, paired with the first rays of sunshine, gave us the perfect start to three days away from everyday life. And Snuggle wasn’t the only musical highlight of the day: Gelée, Ellis D, Heidi Curtis, Waving the Guns and, to round things off, Die Höchste Eisenbahn.
After a cold night, festival Friday started with one of our favourite traditions: the Immergut breakfast round. Uli Brase and Sam Vance-Law chatted with each other, sometimes a little more nicely, sometimes a little more teasingly, and with some wonderful guests, including too many tabs, Kapa Tult, Kira & Alana from the association and Future Franz. What better way to start a festival day?
Afterwards, there wasn’t just singing at the Birkenhain, but reading, too. Magda Wystub and Svea Maus brought their texts to Neustrelitz and created two very special moments of reading.
Questions like Why, How and What For were then explored in the first panel discussions on the Wortbühne. While things got romantic for some during the afternoon speed dating, others turned Friday into Saturday with Future Franz. In the evening, we all filed a report with the PO POlizei because of Heartbreakerei. With or without heartbreak, everyone was singing along. And we gave it our all with lovely people like Rip Magic, Kapa Tult, The Tullamariens, Ebbb, Chloe Slater and Kabeushé.
Then came a very last-minute change to the prime-time schedule that broke our hearts just a little bit. Instead of wrapping our arms around each other at Mine, we found ourselves back at the Zeltbühne and officially declared the mosh pit open with Gigi Girls. That’s Immergut, too: sometimes things turn out differently and, in the end, we simply keep dancing together somewhere else.
And then it didn’t take much longer until the night was declared day under the birch grove with Toys Berlin or in the tent to the finest indie sounds.
Saturday was when things got serious. After breakfast, we met up with you for the Zukunftsworkshop and dreamed about an Immergut in the distant future. A huge thank you from the entire Immergut team to everyone who joined in and contributed so actively. Thank you for your feedback and all your wonderful ideas. We’re taking a whole lot of them with us.
Sonja Eismann took us into her texts and created another little moment of calm between future dreams, laughter and the usual festival Kuddelmuddel.
There was plenty of laughter when we closed the tabs with “Das letzte Dinner” and “Wise Guys”. Did you see that weird dolphin too, or did I just imagine it?
Peki Momés, Quickly, Quickly and Dresses Like Boys enchanted us with soft and quiet sounds, while La Sécurité and Blvth gave us a little taste of the louder tones to come. The sun went down, but the Bürgerseeweg stayed loud with Sorry, Brockhoff, Sprints, Jenny Beth, MHP and Valentino Vivace.
And then, before we knew it, it was time for the final round. The last sounds of the 26th Immergut Edition were gifted to us by Byte FM and Stephan Zovsky.
Three days of Kuddelmuddel, countless encounters, new memories and a little bit of summer packed away to take home. Thank you for being there, for joining in, dancing, singing along and making this Immergut your own. Our hearts are full.
