Somewhere between indie rock, a touch of punk and danceable melancholy, you’ll find Kapa Tult. The four-piece from Leipzig combine witty, often sarcastic lyrics with a clear political stance – a mix of everyday observations, left-leaning social commentary and personal glimpses into their latest dating crises. Running through it all is that persistent feeling that something about the bigger picture really ought to change.

Their music feels like a warm embrace for everyone who doesn’t want to live the way society expects them to – and sometimes struggles with that while everyone else seems to have it all figured out: “Everyone else always looks like they’ve figured it out, always looks like they’ve made it, always looks like they’re doing what you’re supposed to do.”

It’s no coincidence that their second album, released in February, is called “Immer alles gleichzeitig”. If you know that feeling, you definitely shouldn’t miss Kapa Tult at Immergut.
