take a bath
Where others can only dream of refreshment in hot summer temperatures, we can hardly decide which lake we want to head to first at the end of May.
A small selection:
Lake Glambeck, or as we say in Neustrelitz: Glammi, is centrally located just a ten-minute walk from the Neustrelitz market square. Some of us used to swim here under the watchful eyes of the lifeguards when we were at school. For a few euros entrance fee, you get the all-round carefree package with toilets (also barrier-free), changing rooms (also barrier-free), showers and sun loungers. Pack your swimming gear!
With its kiosk, the large Weiße See lake near Wesenberg offers the opportunity to relive old childhood memories with its chips, bars and more. So let's get there!
To completely wash off the (muscle) hangover the next morning and clear your head for the next festival day, the large Fürstensee lake with its crystal-clear water is just the right place. Jump in, cool off, keep dancing!
Had enough swimming already? About 15 minutes' walk from the festival site, the Zierker See invites you to take a short stroll. From the shore, you can enjoy nature with dry feet and watch the ducks paddling around.
You can find more inspiration on the Mecklenburg Lake District website.
